Both my parents and older brother, they have always encouraged me to chase after my dreams with boldness and confidence no matter the circumstance. Ultimately, God inspires me. He gives me another chance with grace and mercy to live out my dreams despite my faults. Those that I admire include Angela Simmons, Karen Civil, and “my husband” Common.
What was the best piece of advice you’ve been given in your career?
It’s not always what you know – it’s who you know.
What brings you the greatest satisfaction personally and professionally?
The biggest satisfaction professionally is seeing the things I’ve prayed long and hard for come to fruition when it comes to career elevation, connecting with the right people, and learning new skills. Personally, the greatest satisfaction is seeing myself grow by learning from my past mistakes and tribulations.
What quote do you live by?

What advice would you give your 18 year old self?
Wow, I would tell my 18-year old self ALOT of things. One being, make sure everyone in your circle is pulling you up and not bringing you down, because birds of a feather flock together. Your circle should push you to strive for more and do better. Your circle should be filled with people better than you so you can strive for excellence and better at your craft. Secondly, don’t follow the crowd follow the calling – make sure you are in tune with God and the purpose He has for your life, that is how you will truly successful. Lastly, support and be happy for others because one day you will need the same thing in return.
