Tell us a little about your background.
My journey began in the vibrant automotive sales market in Nigeria. I have always had a deep-seated passion for cars, but more importantly, I found a knack for being a “trusted advisor.” I wasn’t just selling vehicles, I was matching people with machines that suited their lifestyle and ambitions. When I moved to the UK, I brought that expertise with me, navigating the challenges of a new market and eventually identifying a specific gap in high-end, personalised transportation.

Academically, I hold a bachelor’s degree in English and literature and a postgraduate qualification in mass communication. Those qualifications have strengthened my communication, branding, and analytical skills, which I apply directly to my business, from negotiating deals to presenting vehicles clearly and creating automotive content that educates clients. They also make it easy for me to connect with people from diverse backgrounds, whether in formal business settings or everyday interactions, which is essential in building trust within the automotive industry.

What sparked the transition from sales to founding your own chauffeur service?
My transition from car sales to owning a chauffeur service was driven by observing client needs beyond vehicle purchases. While selling cars, I noticed that some clients valued convenience and premium transportation just as much as ownership. I saw an opportunity to bridge that gap by providing a professional chauffeur service that prioritises safety, customer experience, and, I forgot to add, luxury as well.

You’re known for literally taking your research to the streets. What have these conversations taught you?
Taking my research directly to the streets has taught me that real market insight doesn’t come from assumptions, it comes from conversations. I have learned that luxury is subjective; it means different things to different people. By engaging directly with individuals from diverse backgrounds, I have gained a clearer understanding of what people truly prioritise reliability, comfort, and most importantly, trust.

That experience has strengthened my confidence and adaptability. It has sharpened my communication skills and helped me tailor both my automotive sales and chauffeur service to meet real needs rather than perceived ones.

How do you define luxury in the context of chauffeur services?
Luxury is subjective, which is why I focus on understanding what it means to each client. For some, it’s efficiency and time management. For others, it’s comfort, privacy, or prestige. My priority is to identify what matters most to them and deliver that consistently. However, as a business owner, luxury goes beyond the client-facing experience. It is not just about the fleet of vehicles we operate, it is about the standards we uphold behind the scenes. From meticulous vehicle maintenance and professional chauffeur training to punctuality and presentation, every detail matters. Ultimately, luxury is peace of mind. When a client books our service, they should feel completely confident that everything will be handled seamlessly, professionally, and without stress.

What’s the biggest misconception about the chauffeur industry?
One of the biggest misconceptions about the chauffeur industry is that it’s only for wealthy clients or celebrities. In reality, anyone can access and benefit from professional chauffeur services. Beyond traditional luxury travel, our services cater to a wide range of needs—from airport pickups and drop-offs to private bookings such as photoshoots, music videos, birthdays, date nights, and even events where we provide decoration options to make every occasion truly memorable. This misconception often underestimates the convenience, professionalism, and peace of mind that a trained chauffeur can provide. The industry isn’t just about driving; it’s about creating seamless, memorable experiences for all kinds of clients, regardless of the occasion. Also, another misconception is that it’s purely a male domain. As a woman leading in this space, I’m proving that a feminine touch, prioritising empathy, detail, and presentation, can actually elevate the standard of service.

What does your typical day look like running Zero Mileage?
A typical day running Zero Mileage involves client engagement, operations, and strategy. I oversee vehicle sourcing and inspections, coordinate the team, and ensure high standards are maintained. I also spend time with clients, guiding them through purchases or chauffeur bookings, while keeping up with industry trends and market insights. My focus is always on delivering a seamless, high-quality experience for every client.

How do you select and train your chauffeurs?
Selecting and training chauffeurs is all about professionalism, reliability, and client experience. I begin by hiring individuals with a strong driving record, excellent communication skills, and a client-focused attitude. Every candidate also undergoes thorough background checks to ensure safety and trustworthiness. Once onboard, chauffeurs receive comprehensive training covering route knowledge, etiquette, client interaction, and safety protocols. I emphasise presentation, discretion, and attention to detail, because every journey reflects the standards of Zero Mileage.

Your vlogging has become integral to your brand. What role does content creation play in your business strategy?
For me, content creation allows me to bring a human element to the business. It’s one thing to sell a car or own a chauffeur service, but another to show clients that we understand their needs, lifestyle, and what makes a vehicle or service truly valuable to them, it allows me to educate, engage, and build trust with clients. Through my vlogs and social media, I showcase vehicles, explain features, and provide insights that help clients make informed decisions. It also positions the brand as knowledgeable and reliable, showing that we care about more than just sales. Additionally, content keeps me connected to trends in the automotive industry, which helps me refine our services.

Where do you see Zero Mileage in five years?
In five years, I see Zero Mileage as a trusted, premium brand in automotive sales and chauffeur services, expanding services while maintaining high standards. I also want to create opportunities for women in the industry, both on our team and as clients, and use content to inspire and educate. My goal is to build a brand that clients trust for every vehicle-related need while promoting inclusion and empowerment within the industry.
