The thought of not making good use of my talents and skills makes me cringe and is possibly the reason why I work with such intensity & determination.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?
I consider a lot of what I’ve done as great achievements & establishing LiaNor Beauty Bar is one of them. Making the transition from lawyer to entrepreneur , turning my passion into a reality & making an impact everyday is definitely a great achievement for me.
What was your most embarrassing moment?
I had the loudest & most embarrassing stomach growl during a company meeting while we were observing 2 minutes of silence on Rememberance day. In a room full of unimpressed lawyers eye balling me, ’twas the longest 2 minutes ever!! Lol
What was the inspiration behind creating a beauty bar?
The inspiration began with the birth of my daughter Eleanor. I’ve always created & used my own organic products even for friends & family. So when she was born it was a no brainier- made all her hair, bath & body products. This eventually helped me deal with her skin & hair issues that surfaced after. The experience with her brought me to a place of appreciation & reflection on the impact I’ve had on friends & family with what I did on a personal level. I wanted to take that experience further. Hence, LiaNor Beauty Bar was born. A beauty bar that provides organic skincare solutions that meets needs, budget and values & can make an impact on self esteem by being a small part of somebody’s overall happiness!
What is your greatest fear?
My greatest fear would be not making an impact or difference with my life. The thought of not making good use of my talents and skills makes me cringe and is possibly the reason why I work with such intensity & determination.
What drives you?
God, my family, friends & passion for my work.
What advice can you offer to women who want a career in your industry?
My advice would be to put God 1st, stay true to who you are, remain passionate and committed and be an example of your work!
I’d have to say one of the most important lessons I’ve learned in life is being able to deal with change! My experiences have taught me how to focus on the positive, find the opportunity for growth and draw close to God, family & friends for support.
It changes every now and again, but right now it’s a blend between French Lavender and Lemongrass.
What is your favourite Quote?
It’s more a scripture than a quote- Jeremiah 29:11- “For I know the plans and thoughts I have for you”, says the Lord. “Plans for peace and well- being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope”.
Time travel or teleportation?
Most definitely time travel!
