The holidays are fast approaching and as far as we are concerned, it’s the most wonderful time of the year! This Christmas, Our founder, Nkem, decided to celebrate the Queens who have supported our platform over the past few years, and months through their words, deeds and actions!
This shoot was such a fun one as we laughed, prayed and had great conversations as the photoshoot went on from noon, into the evening! The Shoot which held at The Backyard Lagos was a mini mixer on it’s own as this was some of the Queens were meeting each other, as a collective, for the first time! After the shoot, we had a few questions for Anurika, Chinedu, Mervis, Titilayo and Chinasa in honor of our Q&A Holiday Edition!
Remember; Celebrating Other Queens, Doesn’t make you less of a Queen!
Happy Holidays Queens!

What are your plans for Christmas?
After this very busy year, I would like to unplug in order to rest & reinvigorate myself to carry out the plans mapped out for the new year. 2018 has been an amazing year, and as it winds down, I am looking forward to quality time with my family. This is definitely family time!
What are your goals for 2019?
The work I do with Business Founders in helping them build scale and profit, is an enormous responsibility. In 2019, I will be providing even more systems, models and solutions that will help many more of them solve specific business needs. 2019, for me, is a year of immense impact.
Give our audience one piece of advice for the New year.
That piece of advice would be “Walk your walk.” Stay authentic to yourself and go on your own unique journey. But remember to commit to constant and never-ending improvement; and strive to always be a better version of who you were yesterday.

Personally: To be a much improved version of myself.
Professionally: To increase my brand exposure and expand my business reach.
Financially: To explore more opportunities to monetise (a.k.a. 30 billion for the akanti-o).
What did the year 2018 Teach You? Patience, perseverance and humour-regardless-of-the-situation. I learnt to focus on the solution and not the problem. I developed a progressive stance to life over the course of 2018.

What are your plans for Christmas?
My Christmas plan usually revolves around my family; the kids are on holiday and my husband is on leave. Unfortunately we can’t take any trips as I am working throughout the holiday. We should hopefully attend a few shows, go for a picnic on the beach, visit family friends and maybe cozy up for a few nights in one of the hotels in Lagos.
What are your goals for 2019?
Hmmm…To complete my Masters degree, grow my blog/vlog, meet more amazing people, visit Cape Town and get a promotion at work. I have a few surprise goals as well that I can’t share yet.
What did the year 2018 Teach You? 2018 taught me boldness in a very, very, personal way. I started the year attending a UN-sponsored program in South Korea and spoke my truth about sexual abuse as a teenager; I did an entire presentation on something I used to be so ashamed about and the response was great. I made other moves within the year that were just courage-filled, like when I started my MadeInNaijaWifey blog. I am a scaredy-cat when it comes to starting things; I can play in support and advisory roles but been solely responsible for anything intimidates me. But we did that, and I am learning and growing as the day goes by. So yea, boldness! 2018 taught me that.
Give our audience one piece of advice.
My advice would be to stay true to yourself…whoever that is. Don’t undersell yourself or believe you don’t deserve what you want, because you do. You are a powerhouse of light and possibilities and you have to give all you got, in pursuit of the dreams that dance in your imagination.

What did the year 2018 Teach You?
2018 taught me that the race is not to the swift… it is the Lord that shows mercy. 2018 tested my faith but i’m glad i’m still standing.
Give our audience one piece of advice.
Do you. Stay Original. Don’t be a copy. Stay true to your calling, to your purpose and allow God’s grace to manifest in your concern. And in 2019, work to be a healthier version of yourself. Live Intentionally.
