It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.Love never fails.
We all describe love differently and understandable so, as a tradition at Her Network, we asked some phenomenal women to share their definition of what “Love is…”, here is what they had to say;
Jane Michael Ekanem – Love is caring about the simplest things and not forgetting yourself.
Lilian Afegbai – Love is unconditional, accepting his or her imperfections and seeing it as perfect.
Bolanle Olukanni – Love is the ability to see someone else’s faults and humanism and still choose them.
Joy Alexander – Oziegbe – Love is beautiful, pure, patient, kind, sacrificial; It is not self seeking, proud, easily angered nor does it keep record pf wrongs. It is what i found in Christ!
Nitya Hullur – Love is Trust, Complete Trust.
Feso Adeniji – Love is to fully extend appreciation and respect towards a person or situation and in return, gain an inexplicable and satisfying peace.
Lola OJ – Love is Selfless & Unconditional.
Izin Akioya – Love is being in sync with someone mentally and emotionally; you know what they’re thinking and what they’re about to say next. Love doesn’t need words, you’re both comfortable with or without them. Love is sacrifice, it is choosing to have someone’s back and trusting they’ll have yours.
Chiny Okoye – Love is accepting all the flaws. The good, the bad and the ugly. All the perfect imperfections. Love is absolutely divine!
Ronke Lawal – Love is hearing God with your soul.
Bukes Okukulabe – Love is a feeling of intense care towards another person.
Damilola Oladosu – Love endures with patience and serenity. Love is kind and thoughtful, and is not jealous or envious; love does not brag and is not proud or arrogant.
